Embattled horse trainer strikes deal to avoid jail time

A local horse trainer facing theft and fraud related charges after allegedly selling former racehorses for slaughter has made an agreement with prosecutors allowing her to avoid jail time, according to the Dauphin County District Attorney’s office.
